Thinking.
We all do this, but we also unconsciously always have a bias (a perspective) of the things we do, and later think about.
Like when you see something far away, whether a deformed image of a human or animal, but people say they see something else entirely.
This is your perspective of your surroundings; you believe you are correct because you have been through this yourself, you believe you are in the right, and what you see is the only answer.
You have taken in the surroundings as a deformed picture as your firm perspective of your environment.
Now, for example, if I said mermaids are real, would you believe me?
Some would immediately say “yes,” some would delay but still give the same response and some will outright reply with a “no.”
Why?
Our brain cleverly thinks of ways of linking topics with prior information or knowledge, things we have experienced.
So, for instance, let us go back to the question about mermaids.
If you have watched something supporting this question or have gone through a personal experience in your life about this, you will assumingly say “yes.”
But if you do not support this idea of mermaids because of whatever reason, it is most likely be because of what you were told or other information given and learnt which will lead you to say “no.”
This is perspective.
What has an impact on your perspective?
Certain things can drastically effect your perspective of things, even life.
Society and upbringing has a big hand in this.
How you were brought up and who with can affect your viewpoint either negatively or positively, even whether society had opened or closed links with you.
All these and many more can affect your perspective of things, your viewpoints.
What you’ve been through in life can also effect your viewpoints, you will change and maybe able to adapt accordingly.
But you will have a perspective of certain things and always will, either consciously or non-consciously.
You will have a particular way of considering things.
You will have certain beliefs of topics shared amongst you.
You will have biases.
Now it is up to you and your perspective of how you take this article in, whether to heart or as an informative piece of text.
It’s all up to you!
