MANY of England’s European Under-17s Championship title-winning squad will be on view when Bury’s JD Stadium hosts an under-18s international friendly on Friday, September 5, kick-off 7.30pm.
England U18s kick off their new season against Netherlands - the team they beat in the European final in Malta in May in what promises to be a mouth-watering clash.
With no UEFA or FIFA competitions for the U18s, Neil Dewsnip’s Young Lions will have a number of fixtures during the forthcoming campaign after a successful programme last time around.
After playing games against the likes of Hungary, Belgium and Croatia at St. George's Park, the U18s finished their season at Rotherham United's New York Stadium, beating Germany by 2-1 in front of a big crowd.
Tickets for the game cost £3 for adults and £1.50 for under-16s or as little as 50p for group bookings and free for Charter Standard groups. They are available via Bury FC on 0871 221 1885 (option three) or by e-mailing admin@buryfc.co.uk.
