RACLIFFE Borough rescued a point in the dying seconds after the Welshmen had stormed back from a goal down.
Gary Sampson put Boro ahead against the run of play on the half hour with a spectacular 25-yard strike following excellent work holding the ball up by Ian Fitzpatrick.
But they surrendered their advantage four minutes later when Neil Black fired home after Rob Hopley had won a header in the Boro penalty area.
Boro keeper Phil Priestley pulled off some brilliant saves, but he was partly to blame for the goal which gave the Seagulls the lead.
He punched the ball back into the danger area as Bay laid siege to the Boro goal and it allowed Scott Lycett to pounce from close range.
The Stainton Park men looked to be heading for their fourth straight defeat, but Griff Jones levelled in the 90th minute.
Radcliffe go to Woodley tomorrow night for their second round tie in the Unibond League Challenge Cup, kick off 7.45pm.
