FARNWORTH Social Circle have won the league and cup double for the first time in 13 years.
The team, who are managed by Zac Wilson, went through the season unbeaten in both competitions to win the pairs league and Harrison Cup in style.
The squad is aged between nine and 13 and consists of captain Harvey Westhead, wicketkeeper Charlie Gibson, Sam Barnett, Aryan Soma, Keane Mulligan, Marsden Mulligan, Ryan Naylor, Myles Hayhurst, Samir Hayat, David Williams-Robinson, Hashim Ahmed, Bradley Barrow, Ethan Moore, Abu Khan and Danish Khan.
Wilson said of his side's achievement: "Being my first season as manager I didn't expect much and I have worked hard to get the best out of the lads.
"The boys have given up their time to do extra training sessions as a team or one-to-one sessions whenever they could.
"They have played with commitment and passion all season and it's shown with winning both league and cup, which hasn't been done by FSC Under-13s since 2004.
"Everyone has done extremely well batting and bowling throughout the season and done themselves, me and the club proud.
"At such a young age this is a huge achievement and hopefully they can carry on that same standard throughout their career."
