Wanderers have averaged more than 21,000 supporters at the Toughsheet Community Stadium in League One since the start of the campaign – but how does that figure rank among their rivals in the division?

The Whites’ biggest home gate of the season so far came against Wrexham, when nearly 26,000 turned out.

There were also more than 22,000 fans in attendance against Exeter and Huddersfield, while 20,000 watched the dramatic late win against Peterborough last month.

Wanderers’ figures to date are only bettered by Birmingham, who have averaged more than 26,000 supporters at St Andrew’s as the Blues look to make an immediate return to the Championship.

Huddersfield, who were also relegated from the second tier last term, are third in the list with an average of more than 18,000.

Charlton and Barnsley also rank highly, while Wrexham have averaged more than 13,000 fans at the Racecourse Ground as they aim to build on back-to-back promotions under ex-Bolton boss Phil Parkinson.

Reading and Peterborough are the other sides with an average figure above the 10,000 mark, with Blackpool and Rotherham just behind.

At the other end of the list, Burton have averaged around 3,300 supporters at the Pirelli Stadium as they aim to bounce back from a slow start to the campaign.

Crawley, Stevenage and leaders Wycombe are the other sides with an average figure below 5,000 at the time of writing.
