JOSH Sheehan has been called up to the Wales squad to face Turkey and Iceland later this month.

The midfielder starred for his country in his last game against Montenegro, winning an eighth cap in a 1-0 win which continued their positive start to the Nations League.

The next two group matches pit Craig Bellamy’s side against Turkey at the Kadir Has Stadium in Kayseri on Saturday, November 15, followed by a home game against Iceland at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, November 19.

Bellamy is undefeated in his first four games in charge and has recalled Cardiff’s Rubin Colwill and Leeds United’s Dan James to the squad.

Wales captain Aaron Ramsey once again misses out through injury, as does Leeds’ Ethan Ampadu and Swansea’s Ollie Cooper.

Victory in both games would see Wales win their Nations League group and win promotion to League A for the next competition. Second place would mean a two-legged match for promotion against a League A team, with the draw to be held on November 22.
