Klaidi Lolos hopes Wanderers can build on their momentum from a last-gasp victory against Peterborough as they prepare for another tricky test at Stevenage.
Lolos was the hero against Posh, bundling over the line after Nicholas Bilokapic had made a stunning double save to deny Dion Charles.
It is another quick turnaround as the Whites travel to the Lamex Stadium, but the versatile midfielder is raring to go.
“It is going to be a tough one like every other game in this league,” he insisted. “We just have to make sure we bring the same energy and enthusiasm, and hopefully get another three points.
“I am not going to sugarcoat it, obviously we are not where we want to be in terms of the league.
“We have had good performances and we have also maybe dropped points where we shouldn’t have. But it is not how you start the season, it is where you end up in May.
“We just have to keep going, keep believing and stay strong mentally. Hopefully, more results like that are going to come.”
Lolos has been adjusting to life at the Toughsheet Community Stadium following his summer switch from Crawley.
Despite some bad injury luck, the 24-year-old is already feeling at home at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
“It is a great changing room, we have great staff and everyone gets along with everyone,” he beamed.
“There are no cliques or groups, everyone is in it together. That has definitely been a massive part in how I have settled in so quickly at this football club.
“We have got a great fanbase and obviously it is a massive club. Up North is a bit different, a bit colder than down South!”
Lolos played a key role in Crawley’s promotion last term, finding the net 15 times in all competitions.
The midfielder is delighted to get off the mark at Bolton and hopes there are plenty more goals on the way.
Lolos is still building up his minutes and forging relationships on the pitch with his new team-mates after a frustrating spell on the sidelines, but he is determined to make the most of any opportunities that come his way.
“I say it all the time, I can’t promise goals but what I will promise is that I will give it 100 per cent,” he added.
“If the goals come, then even better. Hopefully, the more opportunities and minutes I get on the pitch, the more familiar I will get with stuff and the more goals will come.
“Consistency is massive, it is everything in life and not just football. It is just about staying as consistent as possible. Hopefully, I get the chance to play again on Tuesday and can replicate what I did.”
