This season’s Manchester League’s Individual Finals in cycle speedway were staged at Bury last Saturday afternoon with a combined Junior rider event followed by a combined Open and Veterans event.
Astley & Tyldesley riders dominated the Junior categories.
John White won the Under-19 final, with Frank White winning both the U16 and U13 finals and Alex Lawless claiming the U10 Championship.
Minor places were secured by Frank White (second in U19s), Levi Edwards (second in U13s), Oscar Belt (third in U13s) and Elijah Rechembei (second in U10s).
John White went on to finish second in the Open final, in between the Bury duo of Reece Pollitt (winner for the third successive year) and Kris Ramsden (third).
Steve Harris took the win in the Veteran’s final.
