Three boxers from a club came home with regional championship belts on a night of success in the ring at the weekend.
At Blackburn Youth Zone on Saturday, Radcliffe Elite Boxing Club's Ayaan Zubair, 15, defeated Aston Simpson from Fleetwood Gym Amateur Boxing Club to win the North West Counties junior under 54kg title.
James Jones,15, got the better of Rudra Patel of Lancashire School of Boxing to pick up the junior under 57kg title.
And Evan Abel, 16, triumphed against Mustaffa Ali of Newalls Boxing Academy to win the junior under 63kg title.
They will now compete in the national quarter finals.
Harry Balshaw, 17, put up a valiant performance but was beaten by a high quality opponent in Owney Kelly of Morecambe and District Boxing Academy in the youth under 57kg category.
The 20-strong Radcliffe Elite squad and their coaches will be back in the Sion Street gym this week putting in the hard work required to win titles.
