Arsenal could have a goalkeeping dilemma for their Carabao Cup tie against Wanderers at the Emirates.
David Raya is a doubt after the Spaniard was pictured with his knee bandaged following Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Manchester City.
Meanwhile, second-choice shot stopper Neto is cup-tied. The 35-year-old featured for Bournemouth against West Ham earlier this season.
Reports in the capital claim that third-choice Tommy Setford is also an injury doubt, which could mean an opportunity for 16-year-old Jack Porter.
The youngster was named on the bench for the Gunners’ Champions League fixture against Atalanta last week.
Elsewhere in the squad, Leandro Trossard missed out through suspension following his sending off at the Etihad Stadium.
Martin Odegaard, Mikel Merino, Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu are all currently sidelined with injuries.
Arsenal were moments away from a stunning win against their Premier League rivals at the weekend until John Stones’ last-gasp equaliser.
Erling Haaland had initially struck an early opener but the Gunners hit back through Riccardo Califiori and Gabriel.
Trossard’s red card was a moment of controversy, with the former Brighton man handed a second yellow card for kicking the ball away.
“I’m so proud of them. It’s unbelievable how we react,” Arteta said after the final whistle.
“I cannot be happy. I want to be involved in a game at this level that puts the game in a situation that we can enjoy and talk about it in the proper way. We are not talking about that, it is clear.”
When asked about the sending off, he added: “I prefer not to comment. I have seen it and it is that obvious, so I will leave it to you guys.
“I was already in big trouble trying to solve what happened on the pitch. It is not my problem to solve what happens off the pitch.”
There was an incident during the first half where Jeremy Doku escaped punishment for a similar action.
“That is what I’m saying,” Arteta continued. “It is that obvious that it is not necessary to comment on it, it is the second time (after Declan Rice’s red card against Brighton).
“I am expecting 100 Premier League games this season to be 10 against 11, or 10 and against 10. Let’s see.”
