But our business is Bolton Wanderers, so what does being a subscriber bring you, exactly? Here is a breakdown…

FREE STUFF

Our Matchday Live blog runs during every single game, home or away, and is free of charge. We cover as much of the build-up, action and reaction as possible – with exclusive photos, video and (we hope) some light-hearted banter along the way.

The Buff – our successful weekly podcast reviewing all the headlines from The Bolton News – is also available via our website completely free. You can also download it to your phone or tablet via most major podcast platforms, like Spotify, Google or Apple.

The podcast regularly features in the football charts and has now been downloaded more than 100,000 times in the last 12 months.

The Last Word is a new addition this season which has proved hugely popular, and like The Buff is completely free. Soon after every game Marc Iles and Henry Hewitt bring their take, along with the latest interviews from manager Ian Evatt and usually a Wanderers player too.

And on Saturday’s we have assembled a team of fan-writers who will be sharing their thoughts on everything that is happening at the club. ‘Straight From the Stands’ can be read by all.

REGISTERED READERS

Readers who register their details with The Bolton News can access up to 30 articles a month free of charge, which include the very latest team news, interviews match reports and transfer gossip.

Of course, this is the mainstay of our coverage and includes a whole range of regular features from the Retro Match delve into our photographic and match report archives, right up to features with Ian Evatt and his squad as they go for promotion in League One.

We are upping our coverage of Bolton Wanderers Women this season as they go look to celebrate a relaunch with a promotion of their own.

After every match we bring you the headline reaction from the manager and his players, our own player ratings – which are always a talking point – plus the latest from the opposition dugout.

SUBSCRIBERS-ONLY

Subscribers are able to access unlimited articles per month – and will also be able to read and listen to some of our exclusive weekly features including… The Big Match Preview: Investigating the issues around Wanderers’ next game, an in-depth article which puts the next 90 minutes into proper context.

The Big Match Verdict: A considered match verdict which goes well beyond who scored the goals. Our flagship written article of the week.

From the Press Box: We speak to the opposition journalist about Wanderers’ upcoming fixture and what is happening at their club. Usually in video or audio form.

Our very best features and interviews, which can’t be accessed anywhere else, will only be available to subscribers and those who pick up a print copy of The Bolton News.

And we will soon be launching even more features aimed squarely at our loyal subscribers, including an exclusive newsletter and column.
