Huddersfield forward Bojan Radulovic is back in contention to face Wanderers following a spell out with a groin injury.
Radulovic picked up the injury in pre-season and had to watch the opening four league games from the sidelines.
“Bojan has been back with us now for two or three days so he will be in contention,” head coach Michael Duff told a press conference.
“He won’t be in contention to start but he should definitely be able to play 20 or 30 minutes if needed, so that is a positive.”
Herbie Kane, Brodie Spencer and David Kasumu are also making progress in their respective recoveries.
However, Rhys Healey remains sidelined and former Bolton man Danny Ward misses out through suspension after he was sent off against Rotherham.
“There are quite a few of them getting closer,” Duff added. “Brodie is half training with us now. Obviously, it is a shoulder injury so his contact has been limited, but he is joining in.
“Herbie Kane is getting closer, David Kasumu is not far away now. The two-week break, it has got us a lot closer to having a full squad to pick from."
Duff knows Ian Evatt and Wanderers well from his previous spells in charge of Cheltenham and Barnsley.
When asked about the Whites’ start, he replied: “It is always difficult after a play-off campaign.
"I know them really well, I was in League Two with them when we got out of that league.
“I think we played them five times the last time I was in this division. They will be one of the teams up there – a very good manager, tactically very good, a big club at this level.
“We won’t be going there expecting anything other than a really difficult game. It is about how we attack the game and can we implement our game on them?”
The Huddersfield boss will not be in the dugout at the Toughsheet Community Stadium as he serves a touchline ban, but he is confident it will not have much of an impact.
“Normally it is me and Kevin Russell, and Martin Paterson sits at the back of the stand with an earpiece,” he explained.
“I will just swap places with Pato. I will still be in the dressing room before, at half time and after the game so it should not affect it too much.”
