Jordi Osei-Tutu is set to be out of action for six weeks after suffering a knee injury in the win at Barrow.
Osei-Tutu, who joined the Whites from Bochum over the summer, was forced off after half an hour at Holker Street.
In more positive news, Eoin Toal is back available after missing the Exeter defeat with a muscle tear.
The defender went away on international duty with Northern Ireland but did not feature in the Nations League games against Bulgaria and Luxembourg.
Dion Charles started both matches for Michael O’Neill’s side, while Chris Forino won his first caps for St Lucia and scored against Grenada.
Josh Sheehan was part of Craig Bellamy's first Wales squad but did not feature against Montenegro and Turkey.
Randell Williams has returned to training. The wing-back started against Mansfield in the League Cup before suffering a setback.
Victor Adeboyejo is also available for this weekend’s fixture. The striker came off the bench against Exeter but was absent from the squad at Barrow.
“(It is) one of the toughest games of the season,” said Ian Evatt. “Huddersfield have just come down, they have kept a large number of the squad.
“Very good players, a really good manager who knows what he is doing and what he wants from his teams.
“(There is) a strong resemblance to the teams he had at Barnsley and Cheltenham. We know what to expect, we have always had close games. Some, we have come out on top and some, they have. I think it will be similar on Saturday.”
The Whites have failed to score in their last three league matches, although they found the back of the net three times in the second half at Barrow before the break.
“You can only point back to history and that is all we have to go off at the moment,” Evatt added.
“A lot of this team were part of breaking the club record for goals in a calendar year. We know there are goals in the team and we need to work harder to create and finish.
“That is what we are doing, we are working extremely hard to make sure we have more of a cutting edge.
“I don’t think we deserved to lose the games we have. Two mistakes at Charlton, a brilliant free kick and set-play against Exeter when they didn’t create a great deal else.
“Sometimes it goes that way in football. We just have to work hard, take our medicine and keep striving for improvement.”
