Astley & Tyldesley Cycle Speedway Club took on Bury in a local derby in the final North & Scotland League matches of the season at Gin Pit on Sunday.

On a wet, miserable afternoon, A&T had only two first-choice riders available for the Division One match, and Bury took the inevitable win, 110-69, to secure second place in the final league table, behind Sheffield, with A&T third, ahead of Hull and Fife.

Terry Norman was best rider for A&T, winning three races, while Reece Pollitt and Mike Baldock both raced unbeaten for Bury.
