Chris Forino scored his first goal on the international stage as St Lucia ran out 2-1 winners against Grenada.
The towering defender, who won his first senior cap against Curacao a few days prior, got the opener with a clinical header inside the opening 15 minutes.
Donavan Jn Baptiste doubled the lead minutes later, with Lucas Akins pulling one back for the hosts early in the second half.
Stern John’s side have kicked off their Concacaf Nations League campaign with maximum points from their first couple of games. They have a couple more fixtures coming up against St Martin in October.
Forino has made three appearances for Wanderers so far following his free transfer from Wycombe earlier this summer. The 24-year-old made his first league start for the Whites against Exeter with Eoin Toal sidelined by a muscle tear.
Elsewhere, Josh Sheehan was an unused substitute as Craig Bellamy secured his first win as Wales boss.
Bellamy’s side won 2-1 at Montenegro thanks to goals from Kieffer Moore and Harry Wilson inside the opening three minutes.
Driton Cama pulled one back 17 minutes from time but Wales held on to take four points from their opening couple of Nations League matches.
Dion Charles got more minutes under his belt for Northern Ireland in the 1-0 defeat against Bulgaria on Sunday.
Charles, who also started the win against Luxembourg several days prior, played an hour before making way for Cambridge forward Shayne Lavery.
Toal was named on the bench this time along with Luke Southwood, but neither got any time on the pitch.
“We said to the players at the outset, the aim was not to be beaten. I think Bulgaria have turned a corner in the last six or seven games as well,” said manager Michael O’Neill.
“Going forward, we’re going to lose games. We just have to learn from that. I’m not really sure I’d call it a setback, a bump in the road, or refer to it as anything. We lost a game away from home.”
