Wanderers midfielder Aaron Morley has joined Wycombe on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old, who is under contract until the summer of 2027, heads to Adams Park in search of regular minutes.
Morley was an unused substitute in the Whites' opening league games against Leyton Orient and Wrexham but started the Carabao Cup tie against Mansfield Town.
Bolton have plenty of options in the middle of the pitch following the signing of Jay Matete on loan from Sunderland. Kyle Dempsey is back from injury and Scott Arfield, who arrived from MLS club Charlotte earlier in the summer, can also play there.
Last week, Ian Evatt said about potential outgoings: "By the end of this month and this window, people are going to know where they stand in the pecking order.
"With that will come some responsibility and some frustration, and if that frustration means they want to go and ply their trade elsewhere then we can have honest conversations about that.
“I have a really good relationship with all of the players, it’s open, honest and transparent."
Wycombe have had a tough start to the League One season following defeats against Wrexham and Birmingham City.
The Chairboys are back in action on Saturday afternoon when Rotherham United head to Adams Park.
Manager Matt Bloomfield told the club site: “Aaron’s a fantastic signing for us, and we’re really pleased to have him here after seeing what he has delivered on a regular basis at the top end of this division for Bolton over the past couple of years.
“We’re looking really strong in the middle of the park and he gives us another option in there, as well as carrying a goal threat in terms of the chances he can create for others and getting on the scoresheet himself.”
