Ian Evatt's side kicked off their season with a win at Leyton Orient and then backed it up by beating Mansfield Town in the Carabao Cup on penalties. Neither performance was flawless - but can we really expect that at this stage of the season?

Marc Iles and Henry Hewitt pick the bones out of those two games and the headlines from The Bolton News, which include the sad passing of club legend Roy Greaves. 

We also preview the upcoming televised game against Wrexham - Deadpool, Disney and all - and the return of Phil Parkinson to the dugout five years after he left the club.
