Former Wanderers favourites and local celebrities took to the pitch at Atherton Colls to support the Bolton Wanderers Remembrance Group’s charity fundraiser.

There was nothing to separate the two teams after 90 minutes following an entertaining 4-4 draw in front of a good turnout from the Bolton faithful.

We have more coverage of the event on the way but for now, just for fun, we have handed out some ratings for the game itself.

TEAM BLACK

Ben Power…8.5

Made plenty of saves including an unbelievable effort to tip Ramsden’s goal-bound strike onto the bar in the second half.

Nicky Hunt…8

Always in the right place to cut out the danger and was calm on the ball as his side looked to build from the back.

James Coates…7

Rob Marsden…7

Made the most of his fitness which has served him well raising funds for the group through gruelling challenges.

Tom Hardman…7

Luke Joyce…8.5

A joy to watch in the middle of the park and got the goal his performance deserved.

Kris Power…7

Jeff Smith…7

Great to see another former Wanderer in action, even if he was up against some tough opponents in the middle of the pitch.

Sam Twiggy…7

Hughie Benson…7

Kelby Makin…7.5

Great effort by Kelby to make this year’s event possible and he even got on the scoresheet with a clinical finish.

Gavin Lee…7

Ash Morris…8

Bagged a brace including a brilliant free kick in the first half. Team White couldn’t handle him!

Danny Girling…7

TEAM WHITE

Darren Belshaw…7.5

Made a few good saves in the first half and looked decent with the ball at his feet, but was caught out by a free kick on his side of the goal.

Marcus Auty…7

Andy Bowling…7

Alex Murphy…9

Wants to be like Mayweather in the boxing ring but on the football pitch, he played like Maldini! Made countless blocks and showed composure on the ball to progress up the pitch.

Mitchell Davenport…7

Ash Twiggy…7

Filipe Morais…8.5

The Postman delivered yet again. He ran Team Black ragged in the second half and provided a brilliant assist for Ramsden.

Chris Brown…7

Jem Karacan…8

A classy display and took his goal well with a diving header in the second half – even if it did give him cramp!

Sebastin Fitzharris…7

Rhyce Ramsden…8

Great to have an England international involved and eventually got the goal that his efforts deserved after combining with Morais.

Wes Harrison…7

Chris Richards…7.5

Managed to get on the scoresheet despite the best efforts of a determined goalkeeper and defence in front of him.

Matthew Carter…7

Shane Moulton…7

Man of the Match: There were plenty of worthy candidates but I'm going to go with Alex Murphy. If I didn't know otherwise, I would have believed he was one of the ex pros!
