Wanderers have announced that the first Community Day of the 2024/25 campaign will take place against Exeter City.

The Grecians make the long trip to the Toughsheet Community Stadium on Saturday, August 31 (3pm).

Community Day sees ticket prices slashed with the aim of making live football more accessible to the local community.

Therefore, tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for over-65s and under-18s for anyone wanting to get a taste of League One football.

The Whites ran out 7-0 winners when the sides met in the North West last season. Dion Charles bagged a brace that day, with Jack Iredale, Victor Adeboyejo, Paris Maghoma, Kyle Dempsey and Dan Nlundulu also getting on the scoresheet in an emphatic display.

Exeter went on to secure a comfortable mid-table finish after recovering from a tough start to the campaign.

Wanderers have also confirmed that the home fixtures against Huddersfield Town and Reading will both be category B games.

This means that prices will start at £28 for adults, £23 for over-65s and under-23s, £17 for under-18s and £12 for under-12s for both fixtures.

Huddersfield head to Bolton on Saturday, September 14 (3pm). The Terriers are aiming to bounce back from relegation from the Championship under new boss Michael Duff, who previously guided Barnsley to the play-off final.

Meanwhile, Reading travel to the Toughsheet on Saturday, September 21 (3pm). The Royals finished 17th last term under ex-Southampton chief Ruben Selles following points deductions due to problems off the pitch.

Wanderers say they will be issuing more ticket information in due course, with the next round of broadcast selections up until the FA Cup third round in January also due shortly.
