Another eventful League One season is in the books and attention now turns to the summer transfer window.

While it isn’t officially open yet, several deals have already taken place as clubs start to shape their squads for next term.

Most of those have been free agents finding new homes after sides across the EFL have been publishing their retained lists.

Here is all the information you need about the summer window as Wanderers and other clubs prepare for the 2024/25 campaign

When does the window open and close?

The summer window is set to open on Friday, June 14 for clubs in the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two.

It will remain open until 11pm on Friday, August 30, although clubs can complete signings after this point as long as deal sheets are submitted on time.

It has also been confirmed that the winter window will open from Wednesday, January 1, 2025 and slam shut at 11pm on Monday, February 3.

What deals have already taken place?

Rotherham have been the busiest League One club so far this summer, already bringing in seven fresh faces as they aim to bounce back from relegation from the Championship under new boss Steve Evans.

Jonson Clarke-Harris, Joe Powell, Joe Rafferty, Liam Kelly, Sean Raggett, Reece James and Shaun McWilliams have all signed up to play at the New York Stadium next season.

Blackpool completed the signing of Jordan Rhodes on Monday following his release by Huddersfield. The experienced forward spent last term on loan at Bloomfield Road, scoring 15 goals.

Mansfield have already completed a few bits of business, including the addition of former Bolton target Keanu Baccus on a free transfer from St Mirren.

Peterborough have brought in Abraham Odoh from Harrogate for an undisclosed fee as they aim to build on last season’s play-off heartbreak against Oxford.

Stevenage, who missed out on a top six finish last term, landed Louis Appere following the expiry of his deal at Northampton.

The likes of Wigan, Wycombe and Stockport have also brought in fresh faces in preparation for the new campaign, which kicks off on the weekend of August 10.
