The Fan Zone at the Toughsheet Community Stadium will be open for England’s Euro matches, Wanderers have confirmed.
Gareth Southgate’s men are aiming to go one step further than their penalty shoot-out heartbreak against Italy in the final three years ago.
The Three Lions kick things off against Serbia on Sunday, June 16 (8pm) and also have group matches against Denmark on Thursday, June 20 (5pm) and Slovenia on Tuesday, June 25 (8pm).
The matches will be shown on a big screen in the Fan Zone and supporters can book their tickets via the club’s official website.
It will be open from 5pm to 10.30pm for the Serbia game, 4pm to 8pm for Denmark and 5pm to 10.30pm for Slovenia.
Tickets are priced at £5, which includes a complimentary drink of a pint of draught beer, glass of win or soft drink. There will also be a ‘Happy Hour’ with draught beer available at reduced prices for the first hour of opening.
Local acts will be providing entertainment in the build-up to kick-off and there will be a selection of hot food on offer throughout the night.
Details for further fixtures in the tournament will be announced should England make it through to the knockout rounds.
Southgate’s men have a couple of friendlies before the tournament gets under way, facing Bosnia-Herzegovina at St James’ Park tonight before taking on Iceland at Wembley on Friday.
Former Wanderer James Trafford was named in the provisional 33-man squad, which will be trimmed down to 26 for the tournament in Germany. The shot stopper is now training alongside Arsenal man Aaron Ramsdale, who also had a stint in the Whites’ youth ranks.
The Euro games will give Bolton fans a chance to watch some football at the Toughsheet Community Stadium before the pre-season friendlies start up again. The 2024/25 League One campaign doesn’t get under way until the weekend of August 10.
