Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is back in training as Wanderers prepare for their Wembley showdown with Oxford.
The experienced forward has been out of action since picking up a calf injury during the 1-1 draw against Portsmouth last month.
Carlos Mendes Gomes is now the only absentee in the squad after suffering a ruptured Achilles at Wigan in February.
Victor Adeboyejo, who recently returned from a hamstring problem, came off the bench in both legs of the semi-final against Barnsley.
Dion Charles has started the past four games following a spell on the sidelines with a knee issue and had a big impact against the Tykes, bagging a brace at Oakwell.
“It is a long week, isn’t it? It feels like an age but the preparation is going well,” Ian Evatt smiled. “We have got everyone bar Carlos back available.
“Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is back training, which is good news for us. So far, everything has gone to plan.
“The players will add the final touches on Thursday and Friday but I think my job this week is to give the players clarity of what we need to do to play well – what that looks like in and out of possession.
“Then it is up to them. We are all excited and very much looking forward to it.”
Meanwhile, Oxford had a late scare in training this week when top-scorer Mark Harris pulled with a knock.
Harris has led the line for the U’s for most of the campaign and they have been without a striker on the bench in recent weeks. There was relief in the camp when he came away from a Greg Leigh challenge unscathed.
Craig short explained: “We always do some high-speed sprinting for the lads because they have to reach this level that’s set by sport scientists.
“You forgive the lads for not hitting that mark, you have got to manage yourself well through training. I see lads jumping into tackles and I will shout, ‘Steady, calm down, be relaxed’, but they are.
“They are very respectful and don’t want to hurt anyone. Mark Harris got a little knock off Greg, and he is fine, but your heart is in your mouth.
“They are looking good and had a weekend off to prepare, they have had a busy schedule, and we will just do the normal preparation that has been successful in the last few weeks.”
Will Goodwin has also returned to training ahead of the Wembley showdown. The 22-year-old has made 27 appearances since the start of the campaign, scoring seven times.
