Wanderers pair Randell Williams and Dion Charles have been named in the “Best XI” from the League One play-off semi-finals.
Charles bagged a brace either side of half time as Ian Evatt’s men ran out 3-1 winners in the first leg at Oakwell.
The forward’s first goal was a clinical finish from close range after a pinpoint cross from Paris Maghoma.
His second came from the penalty spot, beating Liam Roberts with power after Josh Sheehan had been tripped in the box.
Charles had been building up his sharpness during the final weeks of the regular season after spending a couple of months on the sidelines with a knee injury. The Northern Irish international will now head into the Wembley final full of confidence.
Williams also got on the scoresheet in South Yorkshire with a corner that curled straight in during stoppage time.
The wing-back has had to be patient at times in recent months due to strong competition from Swansea loanee Nat Ogbeta.
However, he has been a consistent performer since returning to the side against Port Vale after Ogbeta picked up an injury in the warm-up.
Aaron Collins and Eoin Toal were both on target during the second leg at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, while the likes of Maghoma and Nathan Baxter earned rave reviews for their performances.
However, the XI was picked based on ratings from football statistics website WhoScored, who marked each player out of 10 over the two legs.
Jamie Cumming was chosen in goal after helping Oxford overcame Peterborough, making 12 saves across both legs.
Josh Knight, Elliott Moore, Ciaran Brown and Finley Stevens were named in the backline alongside Williams.
Barnsley duo Adam Phillips and Conor Grant were chosen in midfield along with Peterborough man Joel Randall.
Sam Cosgrove, who scored three times over the two legs against Wanderers, was named in attack alongside Charles.
