Wanderers returned to winning ways in League One with an emphatic 5-2 victory against Reading, but which players stood out?

JOEL COLEMAN…7

Had no chance with the opener and was let down by his defence for the second. Made several decent stops, including from Wing’s free kick, but got away with one for Wareham’s disallowed goal after spilling a strike from distance.

EOIN TOAL…6.5

Was unlucky not to get on the scoresheet after getting up well at the far post from a corner. Has played on the left of the back three lately but moved across to the right on this occasion.

RICARDO SANTOS…6.5

Had an early let off after losing the ball to Ehibhatiomhan in the Bolton half and needs to be careful not to let sloppiness into his game after a similar error at Stevenage. Made a brilliant sliding tackle to prevent Azeez from getting in behind later in the first half.

JACK IREDALE…6.5

Was named in the starting line-up after Forrester played the full 90 minutes on his return at Stevenage and didn’t do much wrong before coming off with cramp 15 minutes from time.

JOSH DACRES-COGLEY…7.5

Made the most of his opportunities to get forward and join the attack, although his final ball could have been better at times.

JOSH SHEEHAN…7

Was unlucky not to score with a low drive that Pereira got a strong hand to and caused plenty of problems with his corners throughout the afternoon.

GEORGE THOMASON…7.5

Grabbed a couple of assists for Collins and Bodvarsson. Ran his socks off as always and had an impact at both ends of the pitch.

PARIS MAGHOMA…7.5

Did plenty of good work in the final third and had the Reading defence worried when he was able to drive at them, but probably should have done better in the build-up to Wing’s equaliser.

NAT OGBETA…7

Another solid performance from the youngster, who has become an important member of the Bolton squad over the past couple of months.

AARON COLLINS…9

A big afternoon for the Welshman, who has had the tough task of bedding into a new team mid-season since his January move from Bristol Rovers. His first goal, in particular, was a moment of real quality that showed why Bolton brought him into the building.

JON DADI BODVARSSON…8.5

A couple of instinctive finishes from the Icelander, who reaped the rewards of getting himself in the right places. His link-up play is also a big asset for the Whites, particularly when they are able to dominate possession.
