Wanderers will be backed by more than 4,000 supporters for their trip to Wigan Athletic later this month.
The Whites make the short journey to the DW Stadium on Tuesday, February 27 (7.45pm) in League One action.
Bolton had been allocated 4,200 tickets for the fixture, which went on sale on Thursday morning and were quickly snapped up.
Wanderers thanked fans for their “magnificent support once again” in an official message via the club website. They also confirmed that tickets will be posted out next week for those who have purchased.
Wigan currently sit 14th in the table following their 4-2 defeat against Oxford at the Kassam Stadium in midweek.
Shaun Maloney’s side have lost three of their last four matches, although they did record a 3-2 victory at promotion hopefuls Peterborough earlier this month.
The points were shared when Wanderers last headed to the DW Stadium, with Jon Dadi Bodvarsson cancelling out James McClean’s opener.
The Whites’ last victory at Wigan came in October 2011. David Ngog and Chris Eagles were both on target that day, as well as a Gary Caldwell own goal.
It is Bolton’s final fixture of a hectic February as Ian Evatt’s men aim to maintain their strong position in the promotion race.
Wanderers are in third place ahead of this weekend’s clash with Charlton at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, although they have three games in hand on leaders Portsmouth and two on second-place Derby heading into the business end of the campaign.
