Matt Bloomfield hopes his Wycombe side will head to Wanderers full of confidence following their emphatic victory against Peterborough.
The Chairboys ran out 5-2 winners against Darren Ferguson’s men at Adams Park, with former Bolton man Kieran Sadlier among the scorers.
Wycombe have now won their last three matches in all competitions as they prepare to take on Ian Evatt's side.
“We have already been planning for Tuesday night, we need to make sure we are ready to go,” said Bloomfield.
“The boys need to enjoy this moment, come in with a spring in their step and head to Bolton to see if we can put on another good show.”
He added: “We had a tough time over the winter months, so it has been important for all of us in the group to remain positive as I have massive faith in this team and my staff.
“We have had testing moments, so to enjoy a day like that in front of our supporters against an incredible team in our league is great.
“I told the boys that I have huge belief in them. I have seen the pain they have gone through and I see what they give me on the training ground.
“We have had moments go against us but that hasn’t altered my belief in the group at all.”
Peterborough pulled it back to 3-2 during the second half after goals from David Ajiboye and Ricky-Jade Jones, but Wycombe showed their character to find a couple more goals in the final stages.
“You are only human to get nervous as you are 3-0 up and then you are 3-2 up, and we have had games this season when we have conceded late,” Bloomfield continued.
“The character the boys showed was really important as it helped us get over the line. We have had a few good weeks in front of goal as we have tweaked a few things.
“The competition within the group has heightened and the boys are playing with a lot of confidence.
“We had a few lean periods so for the goals to come at once shows we are working well.”
