Wanderers are back on the road this weekend when they head to the Sixfields Stadium to take on Northampton.
Ian Evatt’s men travelled down to Cambridge in midweek but the game was postponed after just nine minutes of play due to a waterlogged pitch.
The Whites drew 1-1 against Barnsley last weekend and are third in the League One table, with three games in hand on leaders Portsmouth.
Team news
Skipper Ricardo Santos could be back in training next week following a calf issue picked up at Blackpool.
Nathan Baxter’s wrist has also improved after the goalkeeper picked up the injury while making a save against Barnsley.
George Thomason returned to the starting line-up at Cambridge after serving a two-game suspension in the league for accumulation of yellow cards.
Randell Williams remains sidelined with a hamstring problem, while Dan Nlundulu and George Johnston are long-term absentees.
As for the hosts, Sam Hoskins will be out for a few weeks with a hamstring injury but Sam Sherring has trained this week and will be assessed.
Opposition lowdown
Northampton currently sit 11th in the table as they aim to build on last season’s promotion from League Two.
The Cobblers were beaten 4-1 by Portsmouth in their last outing despite a late consolation from Marc Leonard.
Jon Brady’s side have lost back-to-back league matches. Prior to those results, they were on a four-game unbeaten run.

Wanderers have faced Northampton 14 times in their history, with a record of eight wins, one draw and five defeats.
The Whites ran out 2-1 winners when the sides met at the Toughsheet Community Stadium in October thanks to goals from Dion Charles and Randell Williams.
Bolton won 1-0 on their last trip to the Sixfields Stadium in November 2016, with Zach Clough scoring the only goal that day.
