Lostock Athletics Club members, Rachel and Ste Hancock joined 1,313 other runners taking part in the Stockport Daffodil 10k.
This is the fourth year the race has taken place. It starts at Richmond Rovers Junior Football Club, on Jacksons Lane, turning onto Chester Road/Woodford Road, before joining the path at the side of the A555 (Airport Link Road).
It continues along the carriageway towards Fiveways, then turns around back towards the oil terminal roundabout. Another turnaround follows at the bridlepath, then it is up the cycle path and back on to Woodford Road with a finish on Chester Road.
Rachel had an amazing run, completing the race in 51mins 2secs, while Ste followed in 1:08:01.
