Former Wanderers duo Conor Bradley and Owen Beck made their Premier League debuts for Liverpool against Bournemouth on Sunday evening.
The Reds ran out 4-0 winners at the Vitality Stadium to extend their lead at the top of the table, with Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota both bagging braces.
Bradley played 83 minutes at right-back and assisted Jota’s second with a cut-back into the box, which the Portuguese attacker rifled home at the second attempt.
Beck replaced Bradley for the final stages, and Jurgen Klopp was pleased to get them both on the pitch.
He told BBC Sport: “Top, good aggression, reading the game, (Bradley) is such a good footballer and his attitude is outstanding.
“He has speed, he is aggressive and has all the things you want to see when you play in that position.
“The other boys who came on, it was really nice to see as well. Owen Beck obviously made a big step in Scotland.
“It is a good country for us to send players on loan and when they come back, they look really different.”
Bradley made a massive impact at Wanderers, winning a trio of prizes at the club’s End of Season Awards last April.
The Northern Irish international became a key member of Ian Evatt’s squad as the Whites finished fifth in League One before coming up just short against Barnsley in the play-offs.
Meanwhile, Beck struggled to nail down a place in the side at Bolton. The youngster arrived on loan following a tough loan spell in Portugal and had to play catch-up on the rest of the squad before returning to Anfield.
However, he impressed during the first half of this season during a loan spell north of the border with Dundee.
Bradley wrote on social media: “Premier League debut. Assist. Clean sheet. 3 points. Perfect Sunday evening.”
Beck added: “Special moment making my Premier League debut for the club I’ve supported my whole life! Dream come true.”
Liverpool are back in action on Wednesday night when they head to Fulham in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final. The Reds lead 2-1 on aggregate.
