Luton boss Rob Edwards says his thoughts are with the family and friends of Wanderers fan Iain Purslow, who sadly passed away at the weekend.
Players will don black armbands and a minute's silence will be held ahead of kick-off tonight. There will also be a round of applause in the 71st minute to celebrate Iain's life.
“It is really sad, so I'm sure it will be (emotional). Our hearts go out and thoughts go out to friends and family of the supporter, it was a really sad situation," said Edwards.
The Hatters will be without Mads Andersen, who misses the FA Cup third-round replay through injury.
Andersen was absent from the squad that drew with Burnley on Friday night and is set to be out of action for a couple of weeks with a calf issue.
“Mads Andersen has got a calf issue, I am not sure how long yet. Hopefully, it is not too bad but I think he will be a couple of weeks," Edwards added.
“It is going to be weeks not days, which is disappointing for us because Mads would have been in contention for this one. Other than that, everyone is all right.”
However, Reece Burke and Dan Potts both returned to the bench at Turf Moor following hamstring and ankle injuries respectively.
“We need it, I am desperate to have all these defenders fit at the same time,” the manager explained.
“They all keep chopping and changing. It is almost like, ‘Tag, you’re in for a little bit, I’ll come out and have a breather.’
“I am really frustrated for Mads, but he is already bang on it. He will be back as quickly as he can, but we have got Potts and Burkey back as well which is great for us.”
The Hatters haven’t got a Premier League game until they welcome Brighton to Kenilworth Road on Tuesday, January 30.
When asked if he will make changes against Wanderers, Edwards replied: “I don’t want to give too much away but the same line that I said in the last game, the team I select is capable of going to win the game.
"We have to go in with the right mentality and attitude because Bolton are a really good team that are confident and performing well, especially at their place.
“They will fancy their chances and will be well up for it, so in a way it doesn’t matter what team I pick. What matters is our focus and our attitude towards the game.”
