Cheltenham are out to cause another shock in League One when they head to Wanderers this weekend.
The Robins stunned leaders Portsmouth last time out thanks to a quickfire double from Liam Sercombe at Whaddon Road.
It was a massive result for Darrell Clarke’s side, who moved within three points of safety as they battle against the drop.
“I think it is the best result of my tenure,” Clarke told Gloucestershire Live. “Especially when you put in the circumstances of the injuries that we have got and the illness that we had in the camp. Will Ferry had to come off his sick bed and had to play the majority of the game.
“The way the boys put their bodies on the line was absolutely tremendous. I am delighted to come back from a goal down and win the game as well, I am over the moon with it.
“We rode our luck at times. You need that when you are playing what I think is the best team we have played in the league so far.
“They are worthy of being top of the table at the minute, so you have to ride your luck on one or two occasions, but I thought we defended our box absolutely superbly at times.
“It is just about the win, it doesn’t matter how you get it. We have come from behind a couple of times now.
“That gives the lads confidence to know that when we do go a goal down, which will happen between now and the end of the season without doubt, we can respond in the right way and we did that.”
Rob Street wasn’t involved against Pompey due to concussion protocol but is available to face Wanderers.
“Streety will definitely be back,” Clarke added. “Will Goodwin has a niggle in his thigh but we are hoping he will be back during the back end of the week.
“Lewis Freestone should be back in the week as well, that is a bit of positivity on the injury front.”
Wanderers ran out 3-0 winners when the sides met at Whaddon Road in August. Dion Charles bagged a brace either side of Liam Smith’s own goal.
The Whites also came out on top at the Toughsheet Community Stadium last season, with Kyle Dempsey getting the decisive goal 10 minutes from time.
Cheltenham’s last victory in the fixture came in October 2022 after Ryan Broom’s dramatic winner at the death.
