Wanderers have no fresh injury concerns ahead of their trip to Shrewsbury, Ian Evatt has confirmed.
Zac Ashworth, who hasn’t featured over the past month, has made progress and isn’t too far away from a return.
Evatt is pleased to have plenty of options available as his side prepare for another demanding week ahead of the international break.
“That is a massive thing for us – a fit and healthy squad,” he said. “We have seen when the players are fit and healthy, what they are capable of doing.
“This is now a three-game week before the next break and then we can reset again and refresh the players. But it is going to be a tough, challenging week and one we need to attack.”
The Bolton boss admits he now has a few selection headaches – but it is something he much prefers to being light in numbers.
“Having that quality in a group of players is definitely a positive,” he continued. “It is never easy picking 11 players, or even 18 when we have got a fully fit squad.
“We are not quite there yet, we have got young Zac not too far away now and obviously missing George (Johnston) and Joel Coleman. It is tough, but we would much rather have those decisions than not.
“The players are fully invested in what we are trying to do here, they understand the rotation culture that we have got.
“It is not just about 11, it is about the group and nobody is more important than the team. It is definitely ‘we, not me’ and that is a key phrase for us.
“We will attack the next game as best we can and the players know that for the next game, it might look slightly different.”
The Whites are on a four-match winning streak in all competitions and have lost just one of their last nine matches.
“I think there is more to come from the players, there is still improvement to come. We are working extremely hard,” Evatt explained.
“We had a conversation this morning about the line between confidence and complacency, and making sure we stay on the right side of the ‘confidence line’ without becoming complacent.
“Saturday was a brilliant result and not many people are talking about it because it is kind of expected. But then you look at results elsewhere and think, ‘Bolton made that a lot easier than other teams have’.
“We want to keep progressing and improving, and I am pleased with what we are seeing.”
