Wanderers could cap off a perfect week in League One when they head to the capital to take on Charlton.
Ian Evatt’s men have already racked up wins against Northampton and Wycombe over the past seven days.
The Whites’ form has seen them climb to fourth in the table and move within two points of second-place Oxford.
Team news
Carlos Mendes Gomes has returned to full training and Evatt will make a late call on the former Luton man’s involvement against the Addicks.
Kyle Dempsey remains sidelined with a back issue and is “one or two weeks away” from a return to training.
Evatt has no new injury concerns after Tuesday night’s victory at Adams Park but didn’t rule out making a few changes to keep things fresh.
Opposition lowdown
Michael Appleton took charge at the Valley last month, succeeding former Bolton man Dean Holden in the hot seat.
Appleton’s tenure began with a seven-game unbeaten run, including victories against Wycombe, Exeter and Reading in the league.
However, the London outfit suffered a 3-1 defeat at Lincoln in midweek despite taking the lead through Alfie May.
Evatt played under Appleton in the Championship during his Blackpool days. The 47-year-old also had spells in the dugout at Blackburn and Portsmouth among others.
Head-to-head
Wanderers have faced Charlton 95 times in their history, with a record of 46 wins, 20 draws and 29 defeats.
The Whites ran out 2-1 winners at the Valley last term thanks to goals from Aaron Morley and Dion Charles in front of the TV cameras.
Evatt’s men also beat the Addicks on the road in September 2021, with Kieran Lee bagging a brace. Dapo Afolayan and Antoni Sarcevic were also on target that night.
