It’s that time of the year again as clubs across the country look forward to the FA Cup first round draw.
The draw takes place on Sunday, October 15 at around 2.30pm. It will be broadcast live on ITV1 for viewers in the UK.
All League One and League Two clubs enter the competition at this stage. They will be joined in the hat by the 32 non-league sides who came through Saturday’s fourth round qualifying ties.
First-round ties are scheduled to be played on the weekend of Saturday, November 4.
Wanderers were knocked out by Barnsley in the opening round last season following a 2-1 defeat at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.
The Yorkshire club took control through a Ricardo Santos own goal and a thumping strike by Adam Phillips, but Jon Dadi Bodvarsson pulled one back 10 minutes from time.
The Whites have won the famous competition four times, most recently in 1958 when Nat Lofthouse scored a brace against Manchester United at Wembley.
