BLACKPOOL have snapped up former Wanderers keeper Mackenzie Chapman on a one-year deal.
The 20-year-old has been on trial with the Seasiders since being released by Bolton at the end of the season.
Chapman signed a short-term deal with the Whites last October after being released by Oxford United and had also played for Bamber Bridge over the summer.
The goalkeeper has packed in several clubs in a short career, having started his journey as a youth team player at Accrington Stanley and then moving on to Burnley.
He also spent time in Manchester United’s youth ranks before making the move to Oldham Athletic, where he made his senior debut in a 3-2 defeat against Morecambe in October 2020.
The goalkeeper signed for Oxford the following summer and had a loan spell at non-league outfit Banbury United.
Chapman told the Blackpool official website: “This is a great opportunity and one I’m looking forward to. It’s a chance to work alongside some great goalkeepers and staff and continue my progression.
“I’ve settled into the group well and really enjoyed being out in Ireland with the squad. I feel part of the group already and can’t wait to get going.”
