WANDERERS’ home and away derbies against Wigan Athletic this season have been made lunchtime kick-offs.
The matches, to take place on August 19 at the Toughsheet and January 6 at the DW Stadium, have been moved forward to 12.30pm on police advice.
The club has also advised supporters that the game at Wigan is also scheduled to be the same weekend as the FA Cup third round, so should either club progress that far in the competition the game would be rescheduled.
The date for Wanderers’ Carabao Cup first round tie against Barrow has also been confirmed, with the League Two side visiting the Toughsheet Stadium on Tuesday, August 8 (kick-off 7.45pm).
Tickets for the game will be £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
Wanderers have confirmed that only the Eventura Nat Lofthouse (East) stand lower will be open for the game, with other lower tiers opened if the demand proves high enough.
