Dan Nlundulu has completed a permanent move to Wanderers on a three-year deal.
The 24-year-old joined the Whites on loan from Southampton in the January window, making 14 appearances in total.
He was on target in the 3-2 victory against Bristol Rovers on the final day of the regular season, finding the bottom corner with a precise finish.
Nlundulu now leaves Southampton after a decade at the club, having played 12 times in the Premier League.
The striker becomes Wanderers’ fourth signing of the summer after Nathan Baxter, Joel Coleman and Josh Dacres-Cogley.
“I’m really looking forward to being back,” he told the club website. “I enjoyed my loan spell and I feel at home here.
“We initially had the conversation in the January transfer window and there was only one place I wanted to go, and that was here. I’m happy that it is all done now.
“The way the fans have been has meant a lot to me and I want to pay them back now by performing.”
Nlundulu says Ian Evatt played a big part in his decision to make the move permanent.
He added: “The gaffer is a big reason why I’m here. Football is all about confidence and the fact that I’ve got the manager backing me, that’s the best thing I can ask for.
"I’m thankful that he has put his belief in me, and I’ll be trying my hardest to pay him back.
“I feel like there is unfinished business here and there is healthy competition within the squad, so we all need to work together to get the Club where it needs to be.
“I’m excited to get a full pre-season under my belt and I can’t wait to get started now.”
