Toby Savin is the latest name to be linked with a move to Wanderers ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Whites are currently without a senior goalkeeper following the departures of James Trafford and Joel Dixon.
England Under-21 international Trafford has returned to parent club Manchester City following an impressive 18-month spell at the UniBol.
Meanwhile, Dixon was released at the end of his contract and has since headed back to former club Hartlepool in the National League.
Brighton youngster James Beadle was the first name to hit the headlines as Ian Evatt aims to bolster his squad and build on last term's fifth-place finish in League One.
Now, 23-year-old Savin has been mentioned as a potential target ahead of the new season.
The towering shot stopper had spells at Everton, Crewe and Wigan as a youngster before joining Accrington’s ranks in 2017.
He signed his first professional deal a couple of years later and went on to become a regular starter during the 2020/21 season.
Despite his age, Savin has already racked up more than 100 first-team appearances at the Wham Stadium.
However, he fell behind Burnley loanee Lukas Jensen in the pecking order last season and struggled to get game time during the final months of the campaign. The goalkeeper also had a brief stint at Stevenage in an emergency loan deal.
Savin, who has a year left on his current deal, was said to be drawing attention from Premier League Tottenham around 18 months ago.
Accrington are preparing for life back in League Two after their five-year stay in the third tier came to an end.
John Coleman’s side were officially relegated on the final day despite beating Oxford 2-1 at the Kassam Stadium.
Savin featured in Wanderers’ 3-2 victory against the Reds last October but was not involved in the Papa Johns Trophy semi-final.
