Ex-Wanderers striker Connor Hall is thrilled to be returning to full-time football with Solihull Moors.
Hall, who made four senior appearances for the Whites, has spent the last few years at National League North outfit Chorley.
The 25-year-old scored 23 goals in 46 matches this season and his prolific form caught the eye of Solihull boss Neal Ardley.
“Connor is someone we followed closely last season. He’s a great character, but more importantly a very good finisher,” Ardley told the club website.
“He scored bags of goals for Chorley and is desperate to play full-time football again and improve. It made a lot of sense for us to bring him in.”
Hall added: “There are a lot of things I can work on but finishing for me comes quite naturally. Hopefully, I can bring my form from Chorley to Solihull and do well.
“One of the big attractions is the intensity in training. As much as you try, you can’t always replicate it in part-time football, so I’m really excited to be making the step-up.”
Hall joined Wanderers in the summer of 2017 following a spell in Sheffield United’s Academy ranks.
The forward won the club’s Young Player of the Year award during the 2017/18 campaign and spent time on loan at Accrington the following term.
Hall was set to start the first game of the 2019/20 season under Keith Hill but suffered an untimely ankle injury. He also damaged his hamstring several months later and was released at the end of his contract.
Solihull finished 15th in the top tier of the non-league pyramid this season. 12 months prior, they narrowly missed out on promotion into the EFL following a 2-1 defeat against Grimsby in the play-off final at the London Stadium.
They have also bolstered their ranks with the additions of Joe Newton, Matty Warburton and Kyle Morrison over the past week.
