Wanderers’ first set of pre-season friendlies have been confirmed ahead of the 2023/24 League One campaign.
Ian Evatt’s men kick off their schedule by heading to the Sir Tom Finney Stadium to take on Bamber Bridge on Saturday, July 8 (3pm)
That is quickly followed by a trip to Tameside Stadium to face Curzon Ashton on Tuesday, July 11 (7pm).
The Whites head to the Deva Stadium on Saturday, July 15 (3pm) to take on National League North outfit Chester
Their final away pre-season fixture is against League Two side Salford City at the Peninsula Stadium on Saturday, July 22 (3pm).
Ticket details for each fixture will be announced in due course via the club website and social media channels.
The Bolton News has already revealed that Wanderers will face Premier League and top-flight European opposition this summer in back-to-back home friendlies.
Stoke City were the last Premier League side face the Whites in pre-season, beating Phil Parkinson’s Bolton side 2-1 in July 2017.
Chief executive Neil Hart said: “Earlier this season, it was great to have Aston Villa here in the Carabao Cup and to have that type of game here at the stadium is a real plus.
“We have a double header at the back end of July. One is Premier League opposition and the other top-tier foreign opposition. We hope fans will be excited by it.”
The squad returned to Lostock for fitness testing on June 17 last year and also embarked on a warm-weather training camp on the Algarve.
The EFL season is scheduled to begin on the weekend of August 5 as Evatt’s men aim to build on their fifth-place finish.
