Wanderers fans have once again travelled up and down the country in their numbers to watch Ian Evatt’s men in action.
It has been another season of progress for the Whites, who finished fifth in the table and won the Papa Johns Trophy following a memorable win against Plymouth at Wembley.
There were brilliant scenes after the final whistle at Oakwell last week, with the 2,000-plus supporters in the away end showing their appreciation despite coming up short on the night.
But how does Bolton's support on the road compare to the rest of League One? The 72 has compiled the data from the past campaign.
Wanderers have an average away attendance of 1,594, which puts them in the top five across the division.
Sheffield Wednesday top the list, having averaged nearly 2,500 travelling fans since the start of the campaign.
Derby also rank highly, with the Rams narrowly missing out on a top six spot on the final day under Paul Warne.
Ipswich and Plymouth complete the top four, with both sides securing automatic promotion after enjoying very positive seasons.
There are a number of large fan bases in the third tier, with Wanderers sitting above the likes of Portsmouth, Barnsley and Charlton in the list.
The lowest average away attendance came from Accrington, whose five-year stay in the third tier came to an end after finishing in 23rd place.
Fleetwood and Forest Green also sit near the bottom of the list, having finished 13th and 24th in the table respectively.
