Conor Bradley says it has been “a massive honour” to play for Wanderers following his final game for the club.
The Northern Irish international has had a big impact at the UniBol over the past season since joining on loan from Liverpool.
Bradley has made 53 appearances for the Whites in all competitions, scoring seven times in the process.
He played the full 90 minutes at Oakwell as Wanderers missed out on a return to Wembley following a narrow 1-0 defeat on the night.
The wing-back is highly thought of at Anfield, having already featured at first-team level for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Bradley thanked the Bolton fans for “taking me in like one of your own” and says it has been an honour to play for such a historic club.
He wrote on his Twitter page: “Thank you for giving me my first taste of men’s football, it will be something I’m forever grateful for!
“It has been a massive honour to play for Bolton Wanderers and it’s disappointing for it to end the way it did. I’ve made friends for life and memories that’ll never be forgotten.
“Thank you to the manager and to all the staff for your hard work every day and making me not only a better player but a better person,
“(Thank you to) my teammates for welcoming me from day one and being a pleasure to represent the club with, and to the fans for taking me in like one of your own.
“I’ll be forever grateful, your support this season has been unbelievable. I’ll always be a wanderer!”
Despite his youth, Bradley was near the top of the Bolton squad in terms of minutes on the pitch this season.
Ian Evatt previously hailed the 19-year-old’s strong work ethic and reckons he has what it takes to go far in the game if he keeps putting in the hard yards.
