Wanderers were held to a 1-1 draw against Barnsley during the play-off semi-final first leg, but what did fans say?
The visitors went in front through Nicky Cadden’s low drive but Ian Evatt’s men hit back just four minutes later through Dion Charles.
The Whites head to Oakwell on Friday night in the second leg for a chance to return to Wembley in the final.
Here is what Bolton supporters said about the game on social media
Great reaction after going 1 down. Thought Barnsley were very well organised. All to play for on Friday #BWFC

I’ll take that. On a knife edge ahead of next week. Neither side played their best but it was a good game, very even, a great contest & the effort was clear to see. All to play for #bwfc

Fair result. Thought we looked better after the goal but no real conviction, also worth remembering we didn’t beat (or even score) against Ipswich, Sheff Wed or Barnsley at home this season whilst not losing against any of them away. It’s far from over yet, onto Friday. #bwfc

Didn’t play well and still in the tie. Take that and onto Barnsley! #bwfc

Most frustrating thing today was the sheer sloppiness in passing & clearing our lines.

Has to be better. It's all to play for at least #BWFC
Realistically over the last 2 seasons, we've struggled in the big games at home.

If anything the away game might suit us. Open, on the counter etc.
The big test will be can we withstand their pressure?#BWFC
Got slightly lucky to take this back to Barnsley without a defeat IMO, a huge performance needed now #bwfc

Definitely not made the game at home count. Gonna be difficult now, frustrating.

Barnsley missed their chance big time, could have been out of sight. There’s only one winner now #bwfc

Got away with that a bit. A lot of mediocre performances. Morley's passing wasn't his usual standard. Lots of crosses hitting the first man. On the plus side, it'll suit us more being the counter attacking side on Friday. Still a good chance of going through.

Not the greatest game I’ve ever seen, but I’ll take it, on to Oakwell for the second leg! #BWFC

Still in the tie
