Barnsley boss Michael Duff has warned his players the job is not done following their 1-1 draw at Wanderers.
The visitors went in front through Nicky Cadden’s low drive but Ian Evatt’s men hit back just four minutes later through Dion Charles.
Duff was pleased with his side’s display in front of more than 23,000 fans at the UniBol but insists they cannot afford to rest on their laurels.
The manager explained: “We have been really high pressing but we thought against Bolton, we didn’t want to open up the pitch too much.
“In the end they have had to go round the outside of us because they kept trying to play through the middle and they couldn’t. I think that is credit to our players that they have had to sort of change.
“But it will change again next week. I’m sure both teams will have a look at the game and tweak certain things.
“Overall, I’m really pleased with the performance and we’re still in it. I think the players will have watched last night’s game (Peterborough's 4-0 victory at Sheffield Wednesday) and subliminally they are thinking, ‘we don’t want to be out of it’.
He added: “Next week is going to be tight, it is going to be a similar sort of affair I would imagine. Obviously, we are at home so we will have the backing of the crowd. Hopefully, that can give us a bit of a boost.
“But I have just said to the players, ‘don’t think the job is done now’. There are 90 more minutes and we have to give everything again.”
Dan Nlundulu was denied by a vital block by Mads Andersen during the final 10 minutes, while James Trafford made a couple of important stops at the other end.
“We stuck to our jobs and tasks on a hot day against a team who move the ball really well - their rotations are really good,” Duff continued.
“I’d imagine there haven’t been many games Bolton have been limited to that many chances. But we have got to do it again.
“The last time they came to our place, they beat us 3-0 so there will be no taking our eye off the ball or back slapping thinking it is done.”
