Wanderers have reportedly expressed a “strong interest” in Northern Irish striker Lee Bonis.
Bonis has scored 15 goals in all competitions this season, helping Larne clinch the NIFL Premiership title for the first time in their history.
The 23-year-old’s prolific form has attracted the attention of the Whites, according to The Belfast Telegraph.
However, Wanderers have the League One play-offs to focus on before the summer transfer window opens.
Bonis joined Larne in a £100,000 move in January 2022 and is now said to be valued around £300,000, with the club “bracing itself for bids”.
Derby, who could secure a play-off spot on the final day, and Dundee have also been linked with a move for the striker this summer.
Speaking in March, Larne boss Tiernan Lynch said: “I think Lee has the capabilities to get across the water.
“I wouldn’t be able to stick my neck out and say at what level, but I think he has all the attributes that League One teams would be looking for — big, strong, physical, athletic, scores goals.
“Are there elements of Lee’s game that need improved? Yes, 100 per cent. Does he need to learn the game a little bit more? Yes. Technically, can he get a little bit better? Yes.
"But the one thing that goes in his favour is how hard he works at his game and how willing he is to learn.”
The report also claims that Northern Ireland boss Michael O’Neill is keeping an eye on the Larne man over a potential call up.
O’Neill’s side continue their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with fixtures against Denmark and Kazakhstan next month.
Dion Charles and Conor Bradley are both Northern Irish internationals, while Eoin Toal earned a first call-up to the senior squad in March.
Charles is the Whites’ top scorer this term, having scored 20 goals in 50 games in all competitions at club level.
Wanderers brought in Victor Adeboyejo and Cameron Jerome on permanent deals in the January window, while Dan Nlundulu arrived on loan from Southampton.
