Wanderers are right in the mix for a League One play-off spot heading into the final four games of the season.
Ian Evatt’s currently sit sixth in the table following Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw against Burton at the Pirelli Stadium.
The Whites still have a game in hand on the sides around them and their next three matches are all at home, starting with Shrewsbury this weekend.
The latest ‘supercomputer’ from football statistics website FiveThirtyEight predicts Wanderers will finish in fifth place, picking up a further eight points from their final four games.
This total would represent a seven-point improvement on last term, which resulted in a ninth-place finish.
The Whites also have matches against Accrington, Fleetwood and Bristol Rovers coming up before the end of the campaign.
Plymouth are tipped to maintain their place at the top of the table, with Ipswich clinching the other automatic promotion spot.
The Pilgrims are currently one point clear of the Tractor Boys and the title race looks like it could go down to the wire.
Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley and Derby are predicted to secure the remaining play-off places, with Peterborough narrowly missing out.
At the other end of the table, Forest Green’s relegation has already been confirmed. Morecambe, Accrington and Cambridge are also tipped for the drop.
Oxford find themselves just a point above the bottom four at this stage but are predicted to pick up six points from their remaining matches.
