Wanderers claimed another crucial three points on the road following a hard-fought 1-0 win against Oxford.
Dion Charles got the decisive goal, slotting home after Conor Bradley’s cut-back had been parried by Simon Eastwood.
James Trafford was perhaps fortunate to escape a red card on the stroke of half time after bringing down Kyle Joseph on the edge of the box.
The Whites were under pressure for spells of the second half but managed to keep the Oxford attack at bay.
Here is what Bolton supporters said about the game on social media
Trafford is a very lucky man #bwfc

It's a red all day long that.

MJ may have been covering but it was still a clear goal scoring opportunity.
Striker would have been able to shoot at a goal with no keeper.
No attempt to play the ball by Trafford.
Very very lucky! #bwfc
Very lucky there, probably should’ve been a red #bwfc

Surprised it wasn't a red, but I think he sees Williams beyond the challenge covering and the ball moving away from goal. Surprised, but probably the right call tbf. Seen plenty of reds not given in our favour at home this season so.. #bwfc
