Wanderers are in the top 10 in the League One ‘fair play table’, with six games still to go until the end of the season.
The Whites have picked up 65 bookings and three red cards in the league, with Ricardo Santos, Kyle Dempsey and Dion Charles all given their marching orders.
Of course, Charles’ red card was later overturned following a case of mistaken identity with strike partner Elias Kachunga.
Liverpool loanee Conor Bradley has had the most bookings in the Bolton squad, having served a two-match ban in February for reaching double figures.
Ipswich have the best disciplinary record in the division this season, according to a system by transfermarkt.co.uk which awards each club one point for a booking, three points for a second yellow and five points for a straight red.
The Tractor Boys are one of only two clubs who are yet to have a player sent off in the league this term along with Cambridge.
Meanwhile, Accrington and Shrewsbury are the worst offenders with six red cards each since the start of the campaign.
Accrington have also had the most bookings in the division (92), while Peterborough have racked up the fewest (53).
