WANDERERS have been blanked at the EFL’s end-of-season awards in League One.
Ian Evatt and his squad have not received a single nomination for player or manager of the year at the glitzy ceremony, which will take place in London on April 23.
The Whites have been in play-off contention for the whole season thanks mainly to an enviable defensive record and Dion Charles’s 19 club goals in all competitions – and the club also lifted the Papa Johns Trophy earlier this month with a record 4-0 win against Plymouth Argyle.
While the club has been shortlisted for the Fan Engagement award and the EFL’s Diversity Award, their exploits on the pitch have been overlooked to this point, with the League One Team of the Season to be announced on the night itself.
