COMMENTARY legend Clive Tyldesley is offering Wanderers fans a chance to claim an exclusive piece of Wembley memorabilia from the Papa Johns Trophy final.
Fresh from the 4-0 triumph against Plymouth Argyle, one of football’s most recognisable voices has compiled a unique chart packed with details on the two sides, which would make a perfect keepsake from Bolton’s big day out.
Tyldesley has been covering the biggest games for nearly 50 years on radio and TV, and what was once his pre-match preparation has now been repackaged into a distinctive and collectable piece of artwork.
Wanderers recorded the biggest win in the 40-year history of the EFL Trophy, 100 years after they had opened Wembley Stadium with a 2-0 win against West Ham United to lift the FA Cup for the first time.
More than 34,000 supporters watched the Whites obliterate Argyle with goals from Kyle Dempsey, Dion Charles, Elias Kachunga and Gethin Jones, allowing skipper Ricardo Santos to climb the steps and lift the club’s first knockout trophy since 1989.
You can own a copy of Tyldesley’s commentary chart by visiting his website here. The prints are available in A3 and A4 sizes, can be framed and personalised by the man himself.
The Bolton News is pleased to offer one lucky reader the chance to win an A3 signed and framed commentary chart, with a certificate of authentication.
